I am so sick and tired of this “James relentlessly pursued Lily for years” bullshit.
I mean, COME ON! Do you honestly think that Lily fucking Evans (who was most definitely a feminist) would’ve really agreed to go out with James if he had treated her that way (even if he did mature)

Funny that all of these are headcanon because all we see in canon is James blackmailing, threatening and bullying both Lily and Snape. He’s a fucking dick.
Additionally, we only see him ask Lily out once from Snape’s memory. If it were her memories, it would doubtlessly be filled with James’ constant whining and badgering. In SWM we see her lash out at James, almost like he had previously annoyed her personally.
Just gonna go out on a limb here and say you’re a fan of Severus Snape? not a personal attack or anything, I’m just guessing.
Headcanon that James Potter DIDN’T ask Lily Evans out 50000000000000 times a day.
