so I started watching Sabrina…
(( OOC: Is anyone else just…. really put off by the writing? Everything is so on the nose and the dialogue is so jarring, I don’t think these writers have heard the phrase “show don’t tell” in their life.
It’s such a shame because the cinamatography is quite stunning – if we could actually SEE it when they’re not blurring out half the screen!
Aunt Hilda and Zelda are great, as is Sabrina’s cousin… otherwise the acting is pretty stiff. This could have been a really good remake if the writing was properly done. ))
I’m trying to push through, because I love the cinematography and the idea for the plot, and the lgbt representation, but the dialogue is so bad. I’m hoping it’ll get better as I watch.
