My favourite thing about this is that their answers are pretty much how their characters would respond!!!

some growing up in the same neighborhood AUs include, but are not limited to:

-we aren’t quite old enough to sit with the adults at the block party cook out so we’re the only teenagers in the little kids table

-my family lives in the studio your family is renting out and sometimes we play together in our shared backyard

-we finally made it to the adult table but we’re still technically teenagers and the adults are teasing us about being together all the time, wait why are you so red?

-we met at the park down the block and you just decided to sit down to help me with my sand castle and then suddenly you told me [insert imaginary friend name here] thinks i’m pretty even tho there’s nobody else with us other than our parents watching by the benches

-you’re the nerdy kid i don’t speak to at school but we’re neighbors and our bedroom windows are right in front of each other and we often catch each other doing embarrassing shit

-most of the kids in our block are in the same local team but we bond over our hatred of sports in the benches

-your parents are often down at my house for my parents’ book club but this is the first time they’ve brought you along and holy shit you’re the same kid i’ve been silently crushing on in math class

-you live right in front of me and we have rival lemonade stands

-we’re the only idiots playing pokemon go around the block in the middle of the night

-you got locked out of your house and i walked by you on my way home but then decided to go back and invite you in until your parents get home because its raining and i feel bad and good karma never hurts and also i’ve always thought you were really cute
